Description The HEX ezSWITCH is a compact, handlebar-mounted button with a built-in LED indicator. It’s a versatile smart switch that connects directly to the HEX ezBUS ‘white’ circuit, allowing you to control various accessories connected the user’s same Accessory Manager. The HEX ezSWITCH can be used on any motorcycle model that supports a HEX ezCAN, Denali CANsmart, or Lone Rider MotoCAN Accessory Manager. While most supported motorcycle models already enjoy the convenience of using their standard OE buttons—or the ‘wonder wheel’—to switch auxiliary lights on or off and adjust brightness, riders now have even more flexibility. With the addition of a smart, configurable, illuminated button, you can control your lights with ease, day or night. It’s a great option for those who want a more hands-on or custom setup, adding both style and functionality to your ride. The HEX ezSWITCH also unlocks functionality that was previously out of reach for certain motorcycles. Bikes like the KTM range, Yamaha Ténéré, and others using limited CAN-bus systems have historically lacked rider-accessible control for auxiliary lighting. With the ezSWITCH, these riders can now enable or disable their auxiliary lights, and even adjust light intensity on the fly, opening up new levels of control and riding confidence. The ezSWITCH is also easy to mount, whether on the handlebar or even the side mirror shaft, using a basic cable tie—no complicated tools or setup required! PLUS… The HEX ezSWITCH includes a single expander circuit, accessible via the white 2-pin JWPF connector. This functions like the Red, Blue, or Yellow outputs on the HEX ezCAN, but with two key differences: 2A Max Output – The circuit is protected by HEX’s proprietary fusing algorithm, but the fuse is fixed at 2A. 2-Wire Connection – Unlike the main ezCAN outputs, this does not support 3-wire lights in their 3-wire mode. While this output can be configured for any ezCAN function, it is most commonly used as a brake light output.
