LMT MRP 12.5″ 5.56 Midlength Barrel This LMT 12.5” Chrome Lined 5.56×45 1:7” RH barrel is designed to match the LMT MRP or MRP CQB quick-change barrel systems. The gas system has already been installed to match your MRP upper receiver. To install this barrel, use the factory torque wrench to release the retaining bolts at the base of your handguard, swap this barrel in, and tighten the bolts down to LMT’s spec. If you want to change calibers or barrel lengths, we offer several other MRP barrels to match your needs. This barrel was specifically designed to compliment the L7Z1A “Spec War” upper receiver. The short dwell time of the gas system creates an optimal recoil impulse and gas pressure for both suppressed and non-suppressed shooting while maintaining expected reliability.
