Rooftop Essentials Glock 19 Gen5 by Agency Arms – Armor Stipple & ACRO Cut The Rooftop Essentials by Agency Arms is my personal take on the working man’s fighting pistol. Shooting is expensive. As shooters, we are always weighing the value of necessity against cost. More money in our pockets translates to more ammunition for us to train with. The Rooftop Essentials pistol delivers everything you need without the financial burden of everything you don’t. We start with a factory Glock pistol and only change two things — leaving intact everything that makes Glock a dependable option for duty and self-protection use. The Frame Every fighting pistol needs aggressive texture. Aggressive texture does multiple things. It allows us to build a rock-solid grip and keep it locked in under recoil and less than ideal conditions. The frame on these pistols is done in my favorite texture, Agency Arms’ aggressive, or Armor stipple. It provides very effective traction while standing the test of time over a long cycle of hard use. This profile maintains the OEM trigger guard geometry, maintaining compatibility with holsters that rely on the trigger guard for retention. The Slide We take the factory slide and have it professionally milled for the Aimpoint ACRO to be mounted directly on the slide — removing another source of failure commonly found in a plate and 2-piece mounting system. Doing so results in a more optimal sight picture and robust optic setup. Every slide is engraved with the Rooftop logo and refinished in DLC, similar to that of the original Glock finish.
