Introduction to HP Tuners : LS

LIMITED TO 10 STUDENTS This course has the curriculum to introduce the student to the tools and concepts of tuning LS based vehicles using HP Tuners.  THIS IS A PRE-REQUISITE FOR OUR ADVANCED TUNING COURSE FOR LS ENGINES USING HP TUNERS. This course will discuss: Initial Setup and Configuration of VCM SUITE! Saving datalogs and datalog interpretation identifying what is NORMAL or ABNORMAL within the datalog Tuning Fundamentals Correcting abnormalities found via datalogs within the tune and retesting Pertinent Advanced Topics This training will be mixed between classroom and on the dyno to test diagnostic and tune change results on a vehicle. This course is a complete 2 day course. Optional: We can include a laptop (Dell Inspiron or equivalent) that is fully loaded with software, base files, layouts, and all our resources ready to go in a single package for convenience.  Alternatively, you will be provided a thumb drive with the same resources to be put on your own laptop.  Cost of laptop depends on current inventory, please inquire.   THIS COURSE WILL REQUIRE THE USE OF A PC.  NO MAC COMPUTERS. STUDENTS MUST BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS Computer Mouse Charging Cable for Laptop Drink of choice (breaks will be provided and there is a nearby gas station – mini fridge available for storage)
